The Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) is thrilled to announce the return of the PKY Truck Beauty Championship for its 33rd year, kicking off the show truck season with the most elite custom trucks in all of North America.

“Following the tremendous success of the 2023 PKY event, we are excited to announce an even more spectacular showcase of custom trucks at MATS 2024,” said Jason Alt, PKY Director. “We have carefully crafted a show that will surpass all expectations, featuring the exceptional craftsmanship of the trucking industry’s top builders and competitors, showcasing the best custom trucks that North America has to offer.””

“Jason and his dedicated team of support staff and judges have established the benchmark for the level of excellence we envision for PKY at the MATS 2023 event,” remarked Toby Young, President of MATS. “As we approach our 33rd PKY event at MATS, we anticipate hosting one of the most impressive competitions to date, aiming to elevate the standard once again for all show truck competitions.””

The PKY Truck Beauty Championship has long been recognized as the premier platform for custom truck enthusiasts and builders to showcase their creativity, skill, and passion for the industry. The competition welcomes participants from across North America, each vying for top honors in various categories that celebrate the diversity and artistry of custom trucks.

The 2024 PKY competitor categories include: Limited Mileage, Limited Mileage Dump, Working Truck, Antique Original, Antique Custom, First Show, and New Truck. MATS is also excited to announce the return of the Big Rig Build-Off, a competition where elite custom builders will face off against one another for a grand prize of $20,000. 

Registration for the 2024 MATS PKY Truck Beauty Championship ends on March 1st, 2024 or whenever 175 entrants sign up, whichever comes first.

Also included in the PKY event are the PKY Light Show on Thursday, March 21st in the PKY Lot in the West Wing, the PKY Awards Ceremony in South Wing Conference Room B102 on Saturday, March 23rd at 10AM, and the PKY Parade Presented on Saturday, March 23th in the parking lot adjacent to Circle of Champions.

Admission to the PKY event is free to all badged MATS attendees.
