The Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) is excited to announce the return of the Wall of Fame program for the 52nd edition of the show. The Wall of Fame program honors distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to the trucking industry and provides recognition among industry peers. 

In 2023, the Wall of Fame program garnered an impressive number of nominations from attendees, exhibitors, and industry partners. MATS Show Management eagerly anticipates an equally compelling slate of nominations for 2024. The existing roster comprises a diverse spectrum of honorees, spanning from esteemed historical figures and iconic personalities in trucking to contemporary professionals actively shaping the future of the industry.

The 2023 Wall of Fame class included: Troy Huddleston, Candy Bass, and Lewie Pugh. 

Toby Young, President of MATS, expressed excitement about the return of the Wall of Fame Program, stating, “The MATS Wall of Fame is a testament to the invaluable contributions of individuals whose passion and commitment have propelled the trucking industry forward. This program serves as a platform to honor their remarkable achievements and inspire future generations.”

Nominations will be accepted until March 1st and can be submitted on the event website, www.truckingshow.com/mats-wall-of-fame/. 

The Wall of Fame selection committee, which includes the expertise of the American Truck Historical Society and other esteemed trucking organizations, will review nominations to help select the 2024 inductees. 

Inductees will be recognized during the MATS 2024 Opening Ceremony, held on Thursday March 21st, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the South A lobby.
