Why Do You Attend MATS?
“My whole crazy adventure with trucks began at MATS in 2017. Things have come a long way since then, when I didn’t know anybody in the industry. Now, I attend to visit with friends, meet people in person with interact with my social media accounts, and make new content to share with my audience.”
Why Do You Recommend MATS?
“MATS is a great way to see what’s new, see your favorite industry folks in person, and meet like-minded folks from all over the world. The PKY show lets you see some of the coolest rigs up close, and meet the owners to discuss the work that’s been done, and the daily life of the truckers.”
“It’s hard to describe just how much is going on at one place during MATS.”
How has MATS helped your trucking career:
“Who knows where I’d be right now if I hadn’t gone to MATS in 2017, and decided on a whim to take a sketchbook with me. I decided to start out drawing JC Alt’s cabover, and am now up to around 300 total truck drawings. Over the years, I’ve been able to meet so many great folks who helped build and grow my business – and plenty who have become great friends!”
What does being a MATS influencer mean:
“Being part of the MATS influencer team in 2022 gave me the chance to make tons of video, stories, and photos, which led to a huge boom in my social media platforms. Getting to the show early let me share behind-the-scenes content and hype everything up for the kick off of the event. As a lifetime member of ATHS, MATS gave me a platform to have a meet and greet hosted at their booth during the show.”
