Candy Bass is a professional long-haul driver with 50 years of experience, and 6 million accident-free miles. Bass has been driving for Transport Designs Inc. since 2011.
Candy has a ton of impressive accomplishments such as: Lifetime members of OOIDA and Women In Trucking, Women In trucking Top Woman to Watch, TA Petro Citizen Driver and has a TA in Nashville, Tennessee named after her, founder of Hats for Heroes, as well a part of the Special Olympics Convoy, the Trucker Buddy Program, and a regular on Sirius XM Road Dog radio. She has also appeared on many magazine and Transport Design covers for promotional marketing material to encourage more women in the trucking industry. Candy is also a finalist for the Women In Trucking’s Driver of the Year for 2023, which will be announced at MATS.
