Why Do You Attend MATS?
“We are in a niche market, mainly hauling dry and liquid bulk products, so we aren’t looking for your standard fleet equipment. We spec our trucks and trailers to meet our specific needs. At MATS, we are able to talk right to the reps in person and address any questions or concerns we have.”
Why Do You Recommend MATS?
“MATS has it all. If you are looking for something specific, or even if you don’t quite know what you’re looking for, you’ll find it at MATS. We come here each year to connect with companies we’ve built relationships with and see what they are doing now.”
“At MATS, we are able to network and connect with existing companies we have built relationships with over the years. It gives us the chance to do business face to face and really see what companies are doing that can help us improve.”
Networking:
“We started coming many years ago to MATS with just a pickup truck van. The last 6-8 years, we’ve actually been bringing a charter bus down to the show with people all over our area. So regarding networking, there’s 40-50 people each year we are bringing to the show because they need to experience MATS and all it contains.”
Business Relationships:
“We’ve built great relationships here at MATS, with one specifically being with MAC Trailer. We have about 40 small tankers and some flatbeds. We meet with MAC Trailer a few times throughout the year, but MATS is always a spot we make time to do face to face business. We always make it a point to look at new products from them and experience live product demonstrations.”
