Attendance Policy

This attendance policy is applicable to all Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) attendees, exhibitors, media, and guests, hereinafter individually and collectively referred to as “Attendees”. Show Management shall have sole discretion over admission at all times and shall strictly enforce all show rules. Attendees agree to abide by this attendance policy, as well as all other rules applicable to their badge type, which may be updated at any time. Violators risk immediate confiscation of their show badge without refund and removal from the premises. Violators will not be allowed re-entry.
Show Badges
The show badge constitutes a limited revocable license to attend the current MATS. Badges are the property of Show Management and may be revoked at any time for any reason without compensation. Badges CANNOT be reproduced, transferred, or resold.
Waiver of Liability
The Attendee waives and releases any and all rights and claims for any injuries, losses, damages and liabilities of any kind, including, but not limited to, bodily injury and death and property damage, directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to the Attendee’s participation in and attendance at MATS, against Show Management and its officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensees, patrons, guests, assigns, parents, subsidiaries, successors, heirs, personal representatives, executors, and administrators (hereinafter referred to as “Releasees”).
Indemnification
The Attendee agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold the Releasees harmless from and against any claims, suits, actions, injuries, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, expenses (including attorney’s fees), judgments, and penalties arising out of or relating to the Attendee’s participation in and attendance at MATS.
Authorization for Use of Image, Name, and Other Likeness
By attending MATS or entering any facility in which MATS is taking place, Attendees grant MATS Show Management or authorized third parties permission to utilize their image, likeness, actions, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, photographic display, or any other forms of media now known or later developed, without further authorization, compensation, or notification.
Recording (Audio, Video, and Still Photography)
Copyright of the MATS is owned by Show Management. Show Management reserves the rights to all recordings or reproductions of presentations at, or in conjunction with, MATS. Any photography, filming, taping, recording, or reproduction in any medium without the express written consent of Show Management is strictly forbidden. Exceptions:
Photography, audio, and video recording using hand-held equipment, for strictly personal and noncommercial use, are permitted if not disruptive, as determined by Show Management.
Photography, audio, and video recording, by an Exhibitor or by an Exhibitor’s appointed third party, are permitted if not disruptive, as determined by Show Management, and if conducted within the Exhibitor’s exhibit or event space, as previously authorized by Show Management.
No Soliciting or “Suitcasing”
MATS attendees are prohibited from soliciting business from other attendees or exhibitors in any of the facilities used as part of MATS, except when such solicitation is made by a MATS Exhibitor within the Exhibitor’s exhibit or event space, as previously authorized by Show Management.
